BALMS – The Basics


Sweet Almond Oil – contains vitamins and minerals and is high in protein. This oil is good for all skin types. Helps relieve itching, soreness, dryness, and inflammation.

Beeswax gives the balm a firm texture, helps lock in the goodness from the oil, and leaves a protective barrier on the skin.

Natural Vitamin E acts as a preservative and gives an added boost directly to the skin.


Oil Based Skincare needs less preservatives meaning simple, natural ingredients delivered directly to your skin.

Infused oils are good to hand for many purposes, combining them into solid preparations makes them handy for travel and easier to apply.

CALENDULA with Lavender and Rose Geranium


Calendula (Calendula officinalis). Also known as Pot Marigold, this edible annual flower is easily grown from seed in a sunny spot. Infused in oil it is great for minor skin injuries or irritations and makes a wonderful, skin healing infused oil.

Calendula is anti-inflammatory, mildly analgesic, antiseptic helps heal wounds and promotes healing of mild burns. Seen as a skincare essential and used by many major brands, it is gentle and suitable for even the most sensitive skin.  


Geranium flower oil is both anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory and can relieve itching. It brings a radiant glow when used in skincare, but, more importantly, it is a sedative and helps us to relax, whilst smelling wonderful!

Just the smell of Lavender can calm and relax. Lavender also eases headaches and relaxes tight muscles.

This luxurious blend of mood enhancing essential oils, will linger beautifully on the skin long after the balm is absorbed.

ROSEMARY with Sandalwood


Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) contains a variety of powerful antioxidants has anti-inflammatory properties which help reduce puffiness and swelling to the skin, it also helps heal burns and soothe the skin. Rosemary is excellent in the treatment of all muscular conditions, making is great for massaging tired muscles too. Also containing agents that are antiseptic and antibiotic it can combat odour caused by perspiration and bacteria on the skin so is a great natural deodorant. The anti-fungal and soothing properties of rosemary make it great to prevent flaky scalp and dandruff.

Rosemary has a gently stimulating effect on both the nervous and circulatory systems. It tends to lift the spirits in the case of low mood and is reputed to improve memory.

Both Rosemary and Sandalwood essential oils help increase focus and concentration and Sandalwood is especially good for reducing anxiety, easing depression and reducing emotional burnout. It is a calming scent.

LAVENDER with Jasmine and Sandalwood


Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) relieves pain and enhances healing. It is a natural antibiotic, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and detoxifier which helps prevent scarring and can ease the discomfort of bites, burns and stings. Lavender also eases headaches and relaxes tight muscles.


Sandalwood helps with insomnia, especially when the cause is anxiety.

Jasmine, one of the most luxurious scents in the world, is indulgent and calming. Jasmine eases restlessness and promotes emotional healing.

Lavender is a beautiful, fragrant herb which has a gentle, relaxing, and nourishing effect on the nervous system, while lifting the spirits and easing depression. It promotes refreshing sleep as well.

COMFREY & PLANTAIN with Lavender and Tea Tree


Double infused with Comfrey and Plantain for maximum benefit.

Comfrey (Symphytum officinale). Applied externally, Comfrey can relieve pain, swelling and inflammation, it’s ideal in the treatment of stiff, sore muscles and minor sporting injuries. Allantoin, a compound in Comfrey, is antiseptic and accelerates wound healing by helping cells ‘knit’ back together. Comfrey is also used to treat bruises, sprains and strains and can be used to treat blisters, minor grazes and scrapes. Its also great for eczema break outs

Plantain (Plantago major, P. lanceolata) is another handy first-aid herb for insect bites, stings, scrapes, and other minor skin irritations. It is a tissue-soother, its demulcent, anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial. Plantain contains anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory substances, and the tissue knitting substance allantoin.


Lavender speeds healing and is mildly antiseptic. As an added benefit, just the smell of lavender has traditionally been used to lift mood.

The antiseptic action of tea tree is renowned, particularly useful for treating or preventing bacterial skin infections. Its impressive anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties make it useful in a wide range of conditions. Used in the treatment of sunburn, acne, athletes’ foot.


This balm must only be used externally and not on deep wounds due to the speed at which it promotes cell regeneration. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, avoid applying comfrey products to large areas of skin.

CHAMOMILE & ALOE with Bergamot, Orange and Geranium


German Chamomile (Chamaemelum Nobile) in addition to having wound healing properties, camomile Is also anti-inflammatory and antiseptic. Chamomile is a carminative, healing tonic used in skincare products for anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant properties.

Aloe (Aloe Vera). Soothing and antibacterial, Aloe also hastens healing, is anti-inflammatory, and anti-fungal. This plants ability to sooth burn pain is well known.  Aloe Vera Juice soothing, moisturising and healing, ideal for use on sunburn and mild burns.


Bergamot, Orange and Geranium

Gives a Fresh Citrus like scent with floral undertones
